FINDING THE RIGHT TOOLS → BALANCE

We’ve all heard the cup half full / half empty analogy but what does this really involve?
I’ve decided to try to accurately deconstruct this.... based on how I’ve come to experience this in my own life.

Most simply stated mindset seems to be composed of two forces: our brain and our heart.

Our brain and heart’s ability to hold, enjoy, appreciate, understand, forget whatever that something in our life is varies based on the balance of how we view the outside and our internal worlds - the cup.

Important note!
A brain or heart can be a collective community based organ that when healthy shares the same values, goals & feelings towards something = using the correct tools. But when unhealthy this group brain or heart is broken, scrambled & chaotic = searching for a different tool.

The Boulder

Here is the challenging part.
For our cup to be seen as half full or half empty directly depends on the influences of the Fireworks + Boulders on our overall balance in the moment & long term understanding of who we are and how we are doing.

The Tool Fulcrum

What is the water or whatever liquid you imagine your cup being filled with… water, tea, wine, bourbon, diet coca-cola?

This liquid represents the “tool” of your mindset..

The tool is also the uniting - fulcrum point that supports or disrupts our balance.

What is this balancing act?

It is the search for a state of stability or conversely the instability based on distribution of how the Fireworks +Boulders fill or empty your cup.

Fireworks + Boulders can be emotions, energy, time, money, problems, opportunities... etc.

Conclusion! Your ability to seek & find the correct tools to fill your cup to support your specific life or business needs is what determines if your glass is half full or half empty will support all the Fireworks + Boulders that either relieve or support your suffering*.

Totally easy right?!

*Suffering is elaborated on in a later post!
